Since 2009, Flybyu has been providing maintenance for motorcycles, catering to both local and non-local clients. In 2012, we relocated from Kitchener to Muskoka. By 2014, we had settled into our current premises on Hwy 141. In recent years, we have delved deeper into enhancing Harley Davidson performance by crafting engines and fine-tuning them on our in-house Dyno. Additionally, drawing from our extensive experience in suspension tuning, we assist customers in discovering the ideal setup for their preferred riding style. Excitedly, we look forward to embarking on our next exhilarating project.
In Winter 2024, Bailey Motorsports, Flybyu Motorsports, and Yanick Boucher joined forces once again, clinching the top spot and securing the first overall victory in the inaugural snowbike round of the
2024 ISOC championship.
The X-Games represents a pinnacle in competition. Riders of the caliber of Josh Hill, Axel Hodges, Cody Matechuck, Brock Hoyer, and numerous others converge from across North America and around the globe to vie for victory. The altitude at Buttermilk in Aspen reaches 9,900 feet, adding an additional layer of complexity for athletes and tuners due to the challenging air conditions. In 2018, we secured a 9th-place finish. Despite a solid setup in 2019, an unfortunate racing incident amid the snow dust of the first corner resulted in a machine that could not continue. However, in 2020, with extensive preparation and practice, we returned triumphant, claiming well-deserved hardware. The collaborative efforts of Bailey Motorsports, Flybyu Motorsports, and Yanick Boucher made it possible.
In 2017, we initiated our collaboration with the Yetisnowmx platform affixed to the Husqvarna FC450. Bailey Motorsports' team owner, Stuart Hunt, and I were among the first three riders to compete in the inaugural CSRA race. Progress swiftly ensued as the team brought in young skilled athletes to helm these machines, while Flybyu Motorsports diligently worked on developing setups that would deliver quicker track times even compared to the Pro snowcross sleds. The combined efforts of Bailey Motorsports and Flybyu Motorsports resulted in CSRA Snowbike championships spanning from 2017 to 2020, achieved by three different riders. - Nathen Bles, Yanick Boucher and Ryan Hunt respectively.
Bailey Motorsports recruited Stale Eggen from Norway to compete in the Pro category alongside Ryan Hunt in the sport class for the 2014 season. They enlisted my services to construct and fine-tune Stale's SKIDOO MOD 600 for the Pro Open class. Our efforts culminated in a victory at the final race held at Horseshoe Valley, securing a commendable 3rd place finish overall in the championship. Stale, myself, and Bailey Motorsports maintained our collaboration throughout the 2015-2017 seasons. 2015 Bailey Motorsports was awarded
TEAM OF THE YEAR
The year 2012 marked another remarkable season of success for us, clinching a CSBK championship and earning the prestigious title of Team of the Year. My collaboration with Jordan persisted throughout the 2013-2016 seasons, yielding an impressive tally of four championships out of the five seasons aboard the BMW 1000RR.
This marked my initiation into winter racing. Huber Motorsports extended an opportunity for me to assemble and tune Christian's SKIDOO Sport 600 sled for the 2012 season. In 2013, they significantly bolstered their efforts by recruiting Colby Crapo from Idaho to spearhead our inaugural Pro Snowcross campaign. Colby's exceptional performance led to a remarkable 2nd-place finish in the championship that season.
In 2010, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Scott Miller at Fast Company and alongside the talented rider Jordan Szoke who piloted the CBR1000RR. Together, we achieved remarkable success, setting track records and securing victory in all 7 superbike races for a perfect season. This outstanding performance led us to be crowned Team of the Year, marking a milestone in our racing journey.
During my first season with a Superbike team, I was taken under the wing of the famous tuner Scott Miller, owner of Fast Company, overseeing the Factory Yamaha/Toyota Road Race Team. With talented rider Steve Crevier leading the charge, we clinched 2nd place overall in the championship, with Steve's triumphant victories in the final 3 superbike races. Our collective efforts were recognized as we proudly received the Team of the Year accolade.
